- Since 1980, wages of CEOs went from 30x median to 500x median.
- "Let's shrink the size of the government, but not by slashing poverty programs, but by ensuring that workers are paid enough, so they don't actually need those programs.
- "Divine right" of kings shifted to "trickle-down economics" of the 20th century.
How Economic Inequality Harms Society
- Wealth in rich countries doesn't affect prosperity. Level of equality affects prosperity in rich countries.
