  • STEAM Camp - 2 day camp - open to community as well. End of April.
  • 1 hr ferry to mainland
  • Luxel - based in Friday Harbor. STEM in a big deal.
  • CNC, auto, laser cutters, CNC - full fledged STEM Center
  • Orcas Island, Shaw - bring other islands there
  • Also had native tribes - at STEM Center. Not repeatable.

  • Population of island - 6000; in summer there is 90% tourist driven; whale watching, kayaking, etc.
