- Public rural school; students limited financially
- STEAM Camp - 2 day camp - open to community as well. End of April.
- 1 hr ferry to mainland
- Luxel - based in Friday Harbor. STEM in a big deal.
- CNC, auto, laser cutters, CNC - full fledged STEM Center
- Orcas Island, Shaw - bring other islands there
- Also had native tribes - at STEM Center. Not repeatable.

- Population of island - 6000; in summer there is 90% tourist driven; whale watching, kayaking, etc.
