  • Conveyor belts - see figure 10 in [1]. Recommended safety factor is 7x - but about 3x of that is due to the splice. So spliceless belts can have a lower safety factor.
  • For the Open Source Shredder - stalling should be 100%, and degradation another 100% - so a 4x safety factor should be considered?
