I've developed quite a lot of software including recent AI, developed protoypes for robotics and other products in my garage, and I'm getting pretty close to the point where I can sell some of my designs. However, I don't feel that the economy I'd be relying on for that is necessarily stable, especially at local levels, and having the self-sustaining systems proposed here seems like it could produce something stable enough that I could rely upon it indefinitely. So, I'll help work to make that a reality.
