We need a brad or finish nailer. I sent you the options before:

Finish nails are bigger/stronger so we'd probably want those. The problem is that they don't appear to come in sizes smaller than 1 1/4" - and we only have 3/4" of subfloor to go into. So I guess we need to use a brad nailer and hope that the combination of brads and glue is sufficient (I think it will be fine).
As for the nailer, we can either get one that shoots only brads (cheaper and lighter) or one that shoots both brads and finish nails (versatile but heavier and more expensive):
