About and Sourcing
- It's a hammer that spins. It is not a hammer drill, which is a drill that vibrates. Distinction: full ramming motion vs vibration.
- Menards hammer drill -[1]]
- Menards rotary hammer - [2]. 6.5 ft lb of impact. HF 3.7 ft lb [3]
- Bauer cordless - [4]. They also have a 1/2" version (too small)
- Bauer beats dewalt in the 1/2" version - interesting! 1.6x faster! [5]
- A vacuum makes drilling faster by removing the dust [6] or have a separate vacuum attachment. Milwaukee also has a separate vac attachment - see sec 31 in the 1" SDS video - [7]
