Chrome Spellcheck

Basics

• This page aims to cover Google Chrome (and potentially Chromium (Web Browser) 's ) Built in Spellcheck, how to use it, and any tips

How to Enable

• Hit the Right Mouse Button and it should appear in that drop down menu below the "cut/copy/paste/paste as plain text/select all" section
• You can add languages via hitting the "Language Settings" area which takes you to the Chrome Settings menu section on those/spellcheck (you can get their just by navigating through the settings menu too)
• Also enabling "Enhanced Spellcheck" helps with Scientific terms etc that may get flagged as spelled wrong in conventional spellcheck

The Personal Dictionary

• One has the option to add words the system doesn't recognize as spelled correctly (Typically Abbreviations, Scientific/Trade Terms, etc) to their browser's "Personal Dictionary"
• If one accidentally adds a word when attempting to correct it via the RMB Spellcheck Menu, you can access it via the "chrome://settings/editDictionary" website
