Not by ripping people off but by providing more value. The design is open source - intended to make affordable eco housing widely accessible (see OBI Infographic for how we build - it is missing the 5 day build of the 1400 sf home in the ‘achievements to date’) Thus, we contribute to public design, where you can download our plans from the internet for free. We make improvements in every iteration - with global collaborative design.. Next feature forthcoming is a thermal battery and 6 more kW PV- so your entire house can run off the grid for heating and cooling - saving the 60% of all emissions worldwide from grid electricity production. Thought: this is cheesy but may work - You think open source makes no money? Since I was broke, started doing open source, I made so much money that my 3D printed wallet started cracking at the seams.

How to ‘learn how to learn’

Rough Notes

Mini version of the module taught at the school.

We teach you to lead with moral intelligence to arrive at purpose - from which rapid Learning follows. Because deep drive for performance and learning comes from a deep desire to solve pressing problems - of which there is not a shortage. We teach you how to make accurate mental models of reality, how to design from a modular building block approach - where if you understand the basic building blocks, then you understand how to build just about anything. We do this by learning swarm collaboration so you tap the power of your cohort and act as a swarm brain - using online collaboration tools and real builds. Because we are studying how to.rebuild civilization from its broken state, we study broadly until we see patterns through many disciplines - we learn complex systems problem-solving - which can only be done in a holistic, integrated, interdisciplinary way - where you become homo deus in as much as that is humanly possible - by learning a mindset of abundance that can be used to solve any pressing issues. Because you get exposed to a survey, you get to explore your true calling - you find your true path, in an environment of immersive learning where you also teach - as we tackle integrated systems design and builds.

All right tldr. Here's how we really do it. First

“Learn 20 trades in the time it takes to learn one.” by swarm collaboration. Because of the swarm you collaborate in a cohort of 24 and build 6 homes in 6 months. You just go through builds faster.”

Second, obviously we must now learn: Numeracy 101 Literacy 101 Oracy 101 Emotional Literacy 101 Moral Literacy 101

And then you become like a Chinese wise man. Who told me, if you go to bed with an itchy ass, you're going to wake up with smelly fingers.

That's just the swarm aspect of effective thinking and logic. Mental hacks, mental models, numeracy - so we learn to to learn quickly using the fineman method and other basic techniques. Did you know that the most effective way to learn is not by not even by experience it's by teaching so we engage in both experience and teaching in our program. You can join us remotely for the learning how to learn sessions where you learn how to learn where you learn how to collaborate and learn how to be a human - character leadership humility performance growth mindset where you learn to welcome correction to culminate in an abundance mindset. Feynman Method for teaching. Learning by teaching - as the most effective way to learn even more than learning by doing or immersion.

But the biggest thing is: you are in a learning environment. Hands on at the Rapid Learning Facility. Surrounded by experts in Design Sprints where you design and build something with dozens of people around you and more globally. By collaborative literacy, where everyone gets on the same page because they truly understand work breakdown structures, product development workflow, standard practices of concurrent engineering, Second Toyota Paradox, Exttreme Manufacturing, Integrated Design - just to name a few of the techniques we use. All to form accurate mental models of reality - by time-binding, building upon open prior art, by general semantics. Surrounded by contributors who are selected for open-mindedness and willingness to learn - welcoming any correction.
