Electronic designs should be as simple as possible and be programmable if possible. Use the AVR ATMEGA if possible so the design can be arduino compatible.

Choosing a common set of components to use where possible will help with fabrication. We can share these symbols and footprints so designing is faster. Designs should be done in open source software KiCAD or Gnu Electronic Design Automation tools.
