Fabricate Platform

  • Mark all holes using 2 datum edges in the L-shape.
  • Drill all holes

Fabricate X Major Block

  • Mark all holes for the first block, noting the datum edge orientation.
  • Mark the blind holes for the second block in the same way as the first, noting the datum edge orientation.
  • Drill a 1/8" dia hole at the stepper shaft mark for the first block.
  • Drill 4 holes of 5mm dia at the stepper mount marks for the first block.
  • Check mounting compatibility between the first block and the stepper motor.
