True Fans Timeline Intro

We are indebted to the hundreds of True Fans who have supported the project since 2009, guaranteeing a basic level of operation independent of any other funding. Our next step is to expand our collaborative infrastructure to harness 1000 hours per week of development time from contributors around the world. This would allow us to prototype 1 machine per week, allowing for completion of the GVCS in under 2 years from the time that the 1000 hour/week mark is reached. And if we reach this benchmark, then we can also scale this to unprecedented development velocity. We are seeing great results from our College Tour - in terms of harnessing student talent. We are experimenting with a collaboration architecture that can make this happen.
