If you have a decent internet connection - you can run FreeCAD in the cloud.
This is slower, but if you have limited computing capacity such as a 10 year old computer, this may still do the job as long as your bandwidth for communication is good.
May be able to run FreeCAD like this even if you have a Raspberry Pi?
