A material based off of carbonized Textiles
Useful for Reinforcement in Composites, Flexible electrical componets (including electrodes and heating modules), and as a high strength fiber
Can be in the following forms:
- Continous Fiber Reinforcement
- Chopped Fiber Reinforcement
- Fiber Matting Reinforcement (Essentially a Non-Woven Fabric _
- Fiber Textile Reinforcement (may need to be changed to fabric? essentially woven with longer fibers than the matting, also thinner?)

Product Ecology

The Open Source Textile Construction Set makes synthetic or semi synthetic fibers and/or makes them into more complex textiles such as fabric
Some are removed for Pre-Carbonization Quality Control Inspection
The remaining amounts are loaded onto an appropriate device to be inserted into an inert atmosphere filled kiln / (Lab/Industrial) oven for Carbonization
Some are removed for Post-Carbonization Quality Control Inspection
