Basics

  • A "fully dried" or refined product of Bio-Tar
  • Can essentially be a drop in replacement for Asphalt
  • Main use is Pavement

Bio-Asphalt can be produced through the pyrolysis of biomass. Among the heavy fractions are ones similar to bitumen and suitable for road paving.
