Ground loop of water for geothermal, buried 4-8 feet. Not including heat pump.

For integration with heat pump - we would need to cut in to a heat pump hot or cold line in water - approximating the finned air-to-air heat exchanger of standard heat pumps. This allows us to tap ground-loop constant temperature for cooling/heating the exterior coils, or in winter allowing for lower energy use due to constant temperature of ground source water. This is complicated, so a good start is simply using water for trapping the heat/cold of an air-to-air heat pump.

This is the ultimate cheap Thermal Battery.
