Use Cases

Emergencies

• For Emergency Backup Power
  • GRANTED depending on Local Grid Reliability, the need may not be that great
    • GRANTED this also varies with things like Medical Equipment Needs / Heat and/or Cold Tolerance of the people involved etc (Also other aspects of a Hurricane Preparedness Kit / Blackout Preparedness Kit etc
    • TLDR: Flashlights / Candles and a Propane Heater / Indoor Safe Fueled Heater + Warm Clothes/Blankets will MOSTLY work and be cheaper, but may not work in all situations
    • Also Wet Bulb Events may be harder to deal with than cold per-se
  • Pursuing Community Scale Microgrids etc may also be better than a Hyper-Individualist “A Generator in Every ( Home “ type situation

Power Tools/Lighting

• While this is LESS relevant with the advent of Cordless Tools and LED Lights etc, having a Generator for a Jobsite or Work Truck CAN make sense
• Note however that Air Tools are more Intrinsically Safe thus for some jobs going that route may make more sense

Support of Off Grid Systems

• Essentially use as a mini-Peaker Plant / on Cloudy Low-Wind days etc
