Basics

Used for things such as a top dow shot for assembly videos, showing paper on a desk for drawing/drafting/math walkthroughs, and other shots needing a solution for this

Existing Open Source Designs

Bit of a clickbaity video, but seems closest to the concept

Minimum Viable Product

Can very size to fit the desk
Can work with the Open Source Modular Desk , the Open Source Modular Workbench and the Open Source Modular Kitchen Island via rigid attachment of the t slot aluminum extrusions
Can use various cameras via different mounts (Webcam, DSLR, Gopro, dedicated video camera, industrial style camera

Basic Design

Frame

A Standard t Slot Frame (Varies to fit desk but 1 meter by 500mm can be used until a Open Source Metal Extrusion Workbench for FreeCAD is made

Sliders

This is optional (a screw tightenable atachment would work fine as well)
A Basic Roller Style X Axis, and dual for the y axis
A Universal Axis could be used, but this is even more excessive

Mounting Plate

Metal Plate with t-slot adapter on the back, and a screm mount/tapped hole
