Breakdown

Prototype 1 Design Elements:

  • Cylinder
  • Piston and piston rod
  • Bump valve
  • Oil sprayer
  • Crankshaft

Later designs could include an oil separator on output, quick connectors for steam input and exhaust, oil-less design, etc.

  • does require tapping holes for machine screws.
  • needs counterbalance to not vibrate.
