Intro

Fully open source hardware camera is doable using Beagle Bone open microcomputer, a touch screen, a photodetector chip, lens, battery pack module. The concept is to produce modular design that cost, say $100, for a state of art, professional grade cinema comparable to Apertus but at 1/10 the cost.

The cost is kept low by modular parts, which are part of a toolset of interchangeable parts that never lose their value. And eventually we go to Libre Silicon for producing the chips.
