  • 3.5 hp for $60 at Surpluscenter - [1]. 0.7 kg m torque. 1.2" shaft for serpentine belt
  • 3 hp - $50 - these are the cheapest electric motors around. They are DC, so they need to go through a rectifier first. [2]
  • Typically brushed (double check this) so has the associated issues long term
