Some considerations:

• Use standard screws, bolts, and nuts to accommodate standard hand tools
• Make screw and bolt heads accessible to tools
• Where not necessary, don't glue/weld/fasten things permanently.
• Create access ports, doors, panels, etc.
• When components will be replaced, attach them with clips, mounts, sockets, etc.
