FeF is currently pursuing the Wally Mounster modern steam engine:

• Poppet valves
• 3D cam for full cutoff control and reverse
• Complete Intensive and Extensive Scalability

Wally Mounster of Tasmania, Australia developed a steam engine with two cylinders and a cross head cam that operates poppet valves to control the engine. It is recommended a simple, easy to build engine by Tom Kimmel, President of the Steam Automobile Club of America (SACA).
