After a model is completed in Sketchup - it can be taken apart and every single part can be hidden.

Thus, hiding/viewing things on in proper sequence can yield an actual build sequence.

This can be reviewed rapidly by an engineer for feasibility of build.

Protocol

  1. Take a Sketchup file
  2. Place parts on layers numbered in sequence, in the order that the object will be built.
  3. Save the file. Now the person can hide and unhide the sequence, and a screen capture can yield a build sequence.
