On January 5, 2009, I have kicked off the True Fans funding campaign. This was right after we built the first prototype of the brick press - a manually-controlled version with a small hopper (see discussion in The CEB Story). This was a time when we operated on no budget - and I put all the resources I could into prototyping. Since I was committed to doing this full time - after those years of alienation in my fusion Ph.D. program - I decided to ask people to support
