On January 5, 2009, I have kicked off the 1000 True Fans funding campaign - see initial blog post - [1]. This was soon after we built the first prototype of the brick press and tractor tractor. This was a time when we operated on no budget - and I decided put all the resources into critical machines. Since I was committed to doing this full time - after those years of alienation in my fusion Ph.D. program - I decided to ask people to support me for 24 months at $10 per month. That is how the True Fans program started. Since then, we have added donation amounts up to $100 per month - and we have reached these numbers of supporters:
