Experience so far is that the interface is very frustrating. Key difficulty is how to activate different functions. Many times they are blanked out. Bug report: drawing buttons in workbenches deactivate, and the only way to get them to activate is to switch out of a workbench and get back into it. Managed to draw tubes, rotate, and copy them - but the instructions on the FreeCAD Wiki do not appear to do the things they say should happen. Aligning corners is the next frontier, and copying them reliably. Bug report: need to switch between navigation styles within a drawing to activate certain features.
