Basics

- A device that carries one or more Audio signal(s) such as XLR, MIDI, or a 6.5mm jack, into a computer via a port such as USB or Thunderbolt.

- Most likely a custom built board in a 3D printed/CNC milled enclosure

- Scalable from one input to many
