Basics

- A solar concentrator that uses long troughs as opposed to concave dishes, or a group of heliostats

- It can be used to concentrate solar energy, and pipe it using fiber optics, or mirrored pipes

- It is simple to construct, which is advantagous

- Heats whatever fluid is passed through this pipe


Solar Collector (Light Pipe Version)

- Allows the light to be collected in a light pipe


Solar Collector (Fiber Optic Version)

- Allows the light to be collected in a fiber optic cable

- Holds all the other modules together
