I grew up with a systems analyst father who talked to me about programming problems, data management, and flow charts as I was growing up. He also prompted me to learn some Basic when I was in high school, and complimented my ability to shut down the early word processor prototypes he'd bring home. (Thanks Dad).

I was horse crazy and studied horses and trained horses from Junior High on and off throughout my adulthood, including a brief stint galloping racehorses before I became pregnant with my third child. After that we moved to Alaska, so my horse endeavors gradually fell by the wayside as I dedicated myself to trying to farm on clay while my mechanic (ex) husband worked on various vehicles in the yard after his day at the shop.

I homeschooled three children, raised all of our own meat for a decade, other than what we hunted/fished and occasional beef. I think this goes to the lifestyle ideals you discuss. I was also an active member of the Regroup Recycling club on the Kenai.

I do a lot of work with plants and recognize the individuality and sentience they have.

I'm very excited about the generational change into an abundance mindset.
