OSE power electronics strategy:

  • Use off-the-shelf open hardware such as Arduino, which accepts hats or shields
  • Use D3D CNC Circuit Mill to mill power electonics components
  • For any power electronic device, allow ready-made-circuits (off-shelf Arduino, Pi, etc) to handle logic + IO such as LCD displays and sensors in a construction set appraoch
  • Thus - with only a D3D CNC Circuit Mill, off-shelf logic, and mechanical enclosures (3DP, CNC laser) and milled heat sinks, and drawn wire - we can produce all power electronics with ready means to avail power electronics design and fab to the public
