  • For reinforcing 3D prints, such as for making braided hose.
  • 70,000 psi tensile strenght - [1], 0.014" is smallest diameter. $6/lb.
  • If <10% steel use - plastic is just as strong at 8000 psi for ABS.
  • Not a strong case for steel wire unless the fraction of steel is significant when it comes to plain stiffness strength.
