Basics

  • Often abbreviated SFM in the industry/tech circles around 3d scanning
  • Essentiall SAR, but with video for Photogrametry (may be messing up terms;new to the field)
  • Uses a moving object and/or camera and constant, or high pulse rate image data to determine shape via motion induced changes in the 2d image
  • User:Eric will dig into this tomorrow more, heard about it on the 3d scanning discord
  • Look into "lightstage" scanner
