You might be already be aware of this, but a good source of information on lightweight auto design and its impact on hydrogen's utility as a fuel would be the Rocky Mountain Institute. Amory Lovins' work on Hypercar Freedom- which he placed into the public domain- would also be useful. His work in this area on structuring a design team to work as an optimized whole using integrative design principle could be a fertile place to start. Rmi.org
