Basics

  • A self contained Flash Storage device ending in a USB Port
  • USB 2.0 is cheapest
  • USB 3.0+ is most bandwith and price
  • Used for live USBs for things like OSE Linux
  • USB to MicroSD card adapters also work well, and can be "upgraded" to a certain extent
