  • MPPT reduces the current, while PWM pushes all the current through. 40A mppt controller will limit to 40A, while a 40A PWM controller may get damaged at 80A. [1]
  • Boost only - lower panel voltage to higher battery bank. This is MPPT boost controller - [2]
