12.16.22 While this is profoundly disappointing, it is very important to discuss. During this month's building project "extreme build experience" (at Factor E Farm in Maysville December 8-22, 2022) Marcin Jakubowski racially segregated his employees before proceeding to terminate their employment before project ended. Racial discrimination in the workplace is unlawful and I hope that everyone becomes aware that Open Source Ecology is unlawfully discriminating against its employees on the basis of race. Not only is this illegal, but people are giving their money, time, and support to this organization, and they deserve to know how he is using their support to discriminate against his employees. Because of this, I no longer support this organization, and urge anyone considering becoming donors to take their support elsewhere. If the founder of the organization acts like a racist bigot, it reflects on the entire organization, and affects everyone involved in this organization.

I started this log in 2012, ten years ago. If I knew there would be racial discrimination against employees of this organization, I wouldn't have become involved in the first place. While Marcin Jakubowski is a fallible human in so many ways, this has been the biggest disappointment by far. If remedial action takes place, I am hopeful for more equal treatment of the organization's employees in the future.
