Genius of the And

A principle from Good to Great, best seen as Ken Wilber's concept of Transcend and Include.

It means that there is wisdom in holding two seemingly opposed ideas in mind, and - in practice - reconciling them to work together and synergistically. That is, it is not OR, but AND. Two seemingly incompatible things hold true at the same time. The wisdom lies in seeing enough subtlety to reconcile both at the same time.
