Definitely should be opensourced. Any ideas?

I will check some spec sheets, and if i get one i'll hook it up to one of those Kill-a-Watt meters, but if i understand correctly this can be done via those Raspberry Pi NAS things. I'm going to be looking into NAS Stuff a bit today.
