The concept of transcending the limits of current civilization to create one of prosperity and abundance for everyone.

Imagine that we were to take all the problems that civilization faces in 2025, and we were to solve all of them. One way to do this would be by creating an overwhelming new instance of civilization, based on available resources. The good news is that those resources exist on the Kardashev Scale - see the 10000 Factor. This means that with a good design, only a small fraction of such available resource - just 1% - could be converted to a new civilization based on good design. In effect, the new civilization would end up 99% benign, as the magnitude of the new civilization would be 100x larger than the current one - based only on renewables and distributed physical, political, and personal power. This would be like de Tocqueville on steroids.

So imagine the current scarcity-based civilization is $30T in america. If we use only 1% of the available energy - we would be at $3Q - Q for quadrillion. For the whole world, the Global Economy would be $10Q.

Critique

A natural point of critique emerges: what guarantees that the new civilization will be good, not evil? Nothing, outside of design. We can design systems based on an Abundance Mindset, and that would be the only guarantee of something better than today. Currently, OSE aims to cultivate and replicate such a mindset at scale.
