  • Matthew Burnett - 22 of the 24' non-reinforced trusses - 12 hours excluding 30 min break. Already had 3 days of practice. Jig: 2x4 reinforcement cutout, end cutout for end piece nailsing. 25 1" 16 ga staples per side of bread on OSB scab, 2 scabs. 8 3" nails per side of break on 2' 2x4 scab, 16 3" nails per side of break on 4' 2x4 scab. OSB schedule - 6" with 2-3/8" nails. See the video tape for the first half. Included cutting more OSB scabs. OSB + 8' 2x4 was under tables. Finished product dragged on dolly assembly to outside. 2x4 16' long were outside south end of workshop. Jig was on north side of workshop.

  • MJ - 18 minute for non-reinforced 24' truss, 1/2"x16" OSB height like all rest. test of jig in north end of shop, without 2x4 scab cutouts. 2x4 scab cutouts implemented on Wednesday.
