Dear Reader

I am Shaun Logan Maposa, a visionary with a passion for revolutionizing industries towards sustainable practices. My journey in open source ecology began with a profound desire to establish a company that transcends profit motives, aiming instead to create an ecosystem where the needs of all are met through sustainable pricing strategies.

Presently, I am pursuing a National Certificate in Machineshop Engineering and a Level 3 Diploma in Electrical Engineering from City and Guilds. My practical experience includes working on brick making, tractor repairs, and extensive training in machining, welding, fitting, and farming.

During my 10-month on-the-job training period, I honed my skills at a machineshop repair workshop where I specialized in the repair of agricultural, industrial, and mining equipment. Subsequently, I contributed to a plant producing animal feed and pellets as a fitter.

While I have no notable accolades to date, my hands-on expertise and dedication drive me towards my ultimate goal: establishing an industry that nurtures its employees within a sustainable ecosystem, ensuring mutual growth and prosperity. Additionally, I aspire to pioneer sustainable air travel solutions in my country.

My decision to apply for this scholarship stems from the realization that working independently to achieve my ambitions would be less effective than building upon existing initiatives. By embracing and enhancing the groundwork laid by others, I aim to accelerate the advent of a future where sustainable ecosystems thrive, embodying the adage, "Because nothing is more powerful than an idea whose time has come."
