Basics

  • A setup useful only in labs, factories, or houses/commercial buildings with hobbiest level workshops, garages, or Minifacories
  • May have some use in a home if a Compressed Air Storage (Energy System) system is implemented
  • Consists of a large Air Compressor, a large Compressed Air Tank, and Piping + Outlets
  • Can be as simple as a system that only spans the garage, or workshop, all the way to a house wide system
  • May be relitively simple to add it, but hard to retrofit (in wall piping)
  • Need to determine standard pressures Thia Link May Help (PVC pipe should work, with metal valves, and outlets with quick disconnect and/barb fittings
  • A more intermediate system, that is common at some Motorpools / Corporate Garages/Shops etc is a larger Air Compressor+Tank Unit, and then piping to various Hose Reels etc
