Was a Hydraulic Motor able to get to the same performance as an Electric VFD Motor or no?
Granted with lathes it’s probably a bit less critical as long as it is consistent (unlike a CNC Spindle etc)
I’m not a proper expert in machining either (at least for now), so who am i to judge!
Either way it’s interesting and i’d love to hear more about that aspect of this/how well it preformed.
