  • Production method leveraging Expertise-Embedded Design where a remote operator connected via the internet can control production, operations, or logistic steps. This can also apply to remote quality control, tele-design and prototyping.
  • Genearal Applications: distributed production by non-expert individuals. Production support in existing production systems. General automation and blending of remote and onsite work. Remote quality control.
  • Enterprise Applications: tele-manufacturing or tele-production
  • Tele-Design & Prototyping: Integration of Reverse Engineering (RE) and Rapid Prototyping (RP) to create and analyze 3D models in real-time for distributed manufacturing.
  • Tele-welding
  • Tele-logistics
  • Remote operations - such as machine control in construction. People would love that remotely - on the ground it is painful. Why? Because machines break, etc. Extertise-embedded design could solve this.
