Basics
- A Term for the End Product Produced by Certain Froth Floatation based Coal Washing Technology, especially when used for Non-Coal / Non-Fossil Fuel Derived Solid Carbon (Such as Charcoal , Petcoke , or Pyrochar / Hydrochar etc)
- While more “conventional” Leaching (or “Acid Washing” / novel solvents like Ionic Liquids etc) / Steam Stripping / Calcination can ALSO be used, the main advantage of MRC is it’s usage of comparatively benign liquids (ie Water/Slurry MAYBE with some soap or whatever etc compared to Sulfuric Acid / Hydrofluoric Acid)
- To an extent too, also more effective?
- MRC + Post-Froth Flotation Leaching for the last 1% or whatever may be nice for premium fuel
