Saving this for later, but went down a rabbit hole and read up on
Człowiek z marmuru / Man of Marble (Film) and Człowiek z żelaza / Man of Iron (Film)
(The rabbit hole was mainly Top Down vs Bottom Up Poverty Alleviation Programs -> Labor Ratio / Labor Productivity -> Mechanization in the (Developing) USSR -> Stakhanovite movement / Statistics -> People Mentioned + Wrecking (crime) -> These films + some others)
All in all pretty neat, but now what I’m focusing on NOW per se. Figured it was worth getting on wiki though!
