This would be REALLY neat, especially since i can afford a Mostly 3D Printed Project…but not Moving+A House yet lol.

Serious Notes Though:

  • I don’t know how well things like screws/nails will scale down.
    • Plumbing could MAYBE be done with drinking straws or FDM filament
    • Romex could be simulated with 12 or 14 awg wire potentially?
    • I’ll have to ask around the people doing little model diaramas and whatnot, they’d probably have some good ideas
      • Alternatively FDM or Resin 3D Prints + Airbrushed Paint could maybe pull off the LOOK, main issue would be they wouldn’t match up 100%
  • All in all though having a physical model, even if it’s done at a Wall Module level scale (ie a Greebled panel, but not a physical per-screw fully disassemble-able model may work well

To an extent, almost like Lego etc, being able to tinker with the physical models might inspire more designs/get more people into the project too

Being able to have a physical model for Pitches / At Conferences like MRRF etc would be eye catching+memorable too
