==ASSEMBLY SHEET FOR WORKSHOP ROOF STRINGERS

• Cut one 16’ 2x6” beam to create one 10’8” piece and one 5’4” piece
• Cut one 16’ 2x6” beam to create one 10’ piece and one 6’ piece
• Cut two 16’ 2x6” beams to create two 11’ pieces and two 5’ pieces
• Cut one 16’ 2x6” beams to 14’ in length.
• Cut a diagonal piece off one 11’ piece and one full 16’ piece as shown.
• Lay out a 32’ assembly as shown in the diagram
• Spread glue on the 5-1/2” faces and screw together as shown in the detail at about 18” intervals.
• Lay out a 43” assembly as shown in the diagram.
• Spread glue on the 5-1/2” faces and screw together as shown in the detail at about 18” intervals.

• Cut four 16’ 2x6” beams to create four 10’8” pieces and four 5’4” pieces.
• Lay out a supply shed stringer assembly as shown in the diagram.
• Spread glue on the 5-1/2” faces and screw together as shown in the detail at about 18” intervals.
