ASSEMBLY SHEET FOR WORKSHOP ROOF STRINGERS

Cut one 16’ 2x6” beam to create one 10’8” piece and one 5’4” piece
Cut one 16’ 2x6” beam to create one 10’ piece and one 6’ piece
Cut two 16’ 2x6” beams to create two 11’ pieces and two 5’ pieces
Cut one 16’ 2x6” beams to 14’ in length.
Cut a diagonal piece off one 11’ piece and one full 16’ piece as shown.
Lay out a 32’ assembly as shown in the diagram
Spread glue on the 5-1/2” faces and screw together as shown in the detail at about 18” intervals.
Lay out a 43” assembly as shown in the diagram.
Spread glue on the 5-1/2” faces and screw together as shown in the detail at about 18” intervals.

Make 5 of each assembly

Cut four 16’ 2x6” beams to create four 10’8” pieces and four 5’4” pieces.
Lay out a supply shed stringer assembly as shown in the diagram.
Spread glue on the 5-1/2” faces and screw together as shown in the detail at about 18” intervals.
