What you get:

What you give:

  • 80-95% of your energy for open source economic development (~20 days per month outside of the 5-15% of your time in production runs)


What it takes:

  • 500-1000 human hours of enterprise development, shakedown, and optimization
  • Developing, documenting, and producing Immersion Training curriculum for the production model
  • Another 1000-8000 human hours of Development Time for ancillary equipment (Ironworker Machine, CNC Torch Table, Oxyhydrogen Cutter, CNC Circuit Mill, Welder, Plasma Cutter, Stepper Motor Controller, Inverter, Nickel-Iron Batteries)

Risk Sharing and Responsibility:

  • OSE provides social marketing and product design
  • Production Director organizes the production run
  • Apprentices help in the production run as volunteers
  • FeF staff are funded via such production
